My name is David Samuel Meyer—a.k.a 꽃기린—and this is my blog.

I research and teach about the philosophy and history of education at Yonsei University in Seoul. This is my personal blog where I wonder out loud about things I am learning.

I grew up in Northern California, and became a naturalized citizen of Korea in August of 2023. I received a BA in Liberal Studies from the University of Hawai’i in 2013, and a PhD in Education from Yonsei University in 2022.

I like to make art, especially music. I am insatiably curious and always have a dozen or so things I am working on at once.
